Andhra Pradesh floods: Situation of dams

Andhra Pradesh is devastated by floods and situation is still on edge but under control. People of Kurnool, Mahaboobnagar, Guntur and Krishna districts will take years to recover from this natural calamity. Biggest floods to Krishna River in last 100 years submerged hundreds of villages and created havoc in many districts of state. Submerged villages in Kurnool and Mahaboobnagar are now receiving relief measures in full scale.

But situation is critical in Nadyal. Kundu River is overflowing in that region. Till now, 448 villages are submerged in 4 districts. 4 lakh people are displaced to relief camps from critical areas. Tomorrow is most critical day for people of Krishna and Guntur districts. More than 200 relief camps are setup in 4 affected districts of Andhra Pradesh for flood victims.
