1. Varrtha is losing readers by lakhs in each month. In 2009, it used to have 60-75 lakh readers.
2. Unlike in other states, Times of India failed to make significant impact in Andhra Pradesh.
3. Despite Sakhshi making massive gains in the last 15 months, Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy have not lost readers.
4. Among the top 9 newspapers, 4 are owned by Congress party MLAs, MPs and its sympathisers. But, Loss of Jagan is a big blow.
5. Hindu and Times of India are generally considered as unbiased newspaers in Andhra Pradesh (general perception).
