Top colleges in Andhra Pradesh
India Today magazine conducted its annual survey to select best colleges in India. Unfortunately very few Hyderabad colleges find place in the “best colleges rankings” when compared to states like Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Delhi. Only single college (Nalsar College in Law) from Andhra Pradesh finds place in the top 10 list. This survey reflects the poor educational standards that are prevailing in our Andhra educational institutions. We need quality but not quantity. Most of the global achievers from Andhra Pradesh are those who are studied in IITs and IIMs. It is unfortunate to see that educational centres like Vijayawada, Guntur and Nellore have no college in the best colleges list in any department. Guntur Medical College and Vijayawada Loyola are once famous for their academic Excellence. When will we attain those standards?
