Government of Andhrapradesh made this arrangement for the convenience of farmers to guide them on various Agricultural aspects. Experts on Agriculture, Sericulture, Fishery, Animal-Husbandry and Horticulture are available to clarify farmer’s doubts. This is a free information service.    The following information can be obtained: 1. What type of crop is suitable for a particular season? 2. What type of soil is it? 3. The type of fertilizer and manure is needed to make that soil more fertile. 4. The protective measures to be adopted to save the crops from various diseases, by the timely application of the various insecticides and the pesticides. 5. The latest information about the ordinary and hybrid seeds.  How to use this service: 1. Landline users can directly call-1100. 2. Mobile users: call 40—1100. It is still facing some problems. This is a very good initiative by Andhra Government to save farmers from market rumors. It is better if they include psychologist to prevent farmers from committing suicide. Psychologist can save many farmer lives by giving proper counseling.
