Top districts in Andhra Pradesh in 2004
Andhra Pradesh is in fourth place in agriculture as per latest survey. Andhra Pradesh is now fifth largest economy in India. Visakhapatnam district is in 17th place while Mahaboobnagar is the most underdeveloped district in state. According to survey, Rayalaseema is most underdeveloped area in Andhra Pradesh. Among top 10 districts, 7 are from Coastal area while 3 are from Telangana (Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Karimnagar). No district from Rayalaseema find place in top districts.
